Easter 2014

I know this is a bit late but…..

Easter went well. Some of the kids dyed eggs for the very first time.

Some have never hunted for eggs before.

It was great to be able to be with them for their “firsts”.

It is funny that some would rather adopt a newborn so they can experience the child’s “firsts”. I’m here to say, even at 15- and 13-years-old, there are still some firsts to experience.

It is great!

There is one in every crowd LOL

Even 17-year-old boys still get into the egg dying process.

Using muffin tins for the younger crowd worked better than passing cups around.

Using markers for the youngest two was a much safer option as well. Jeremiah (age 3) dropped his eggs so many times they were totally “scrambled” when he was done.

Awww…..a very special egg.

When we first got these aprons….Charlie (grandson) was about as small as Jeremiah. My how he has grown. He will be 13 on May 3rd (tomorrow) and is already about 5’6” tall. His voice is beginning to change too. So here he is holding his youngest uncle. LOL

Jaime and Ashley decided they wanted to crochet themselves their Easter dresses/skirts. They did a great job!

Here is our Easter family portrait. This shot only took three tries LOL

He is Risen! Alleluia!

Dying Eggs ... What a fun afternoon! The dress/skirt the girls crocheted are beautiful. I can only dream of being able to crochet that well.
Looks like you all had a very nice Easter (Resurrection Sunday) celebration.
Blessings,
Mrs.B
